S.Gurbir Singh Grewal - Sikhs The Supreme

An Indian American Sikh attorney S. Gurbir Singh Grewal 42, was sworn in as acting Bergen county Prosecutor in January 2016. Bergen is the most populous couny in New Jersey. He is first South Asian appointed as the top prosecutor in U.S. He is a former federal prosecutor who had fought major white-collar crimes as U.S Attorney’s office. Recently he was serving as the Chief of the Economic Crimes Unit in New York and has good experience of prosecuting cases in U.S Courts. He joined the U.S. Attorney’s office in 2010. Grewal described his appointment as “honour and privilege”. He replaced John Molinelli who served on this post for a long period of 14 years.
