Anarkali Kaur - Sikhs The Supreme

A Sikh Afghan girl Anarkali Kaur Honaryar d/o an Er. Kishan Singh Honaryar, a dentist by profession and a social activist, who has been struggling for the rights of women and religious minorities, is a household name in Kabul. India felt proud when in 2009, she was named “Afghanistan's Person of the Year' for 2009. Now she has been working for International Council for Human Rights (ICHR). She was also appointed as a member of Afghan's Constitutional Committee. She had been a respresentative for Hindus. She has travelled to Germany, Italy, Sri Lanka, Qatar and once India for human rights conferences. She is pride of Sikhs as well as of India. UNESCO also honoured her with an award for bravery.
